CREATOR’S CANDLES BY GABY 

I’m Gabriella, a 15-year-old teen entrepreneur. I started my journey of becoming a candle maker in August of 2021. Prior to starting my business I used to always ask my mom for money and the answer wasn’t always yes. I wanted to make my own money but I wanted to have fun while earning it. I thought of candles because I get to put my creativity into each different candle by mixing the scents and creating unique names. I have always been a candle lover but wasn’t always satisfied with candles from other companies. I knew I had to make my business different.  I wanted to create quality clean burning candles that were safe.  I purchased my first batch of candle supplies from a local supplier and opened my online store.  Sales were very slow at first but with the support from my family and community.  As time goes I learn and grow more and more.   I fell in love with making candles and I never want to stop being a business owner. 

I’ve been homeschooled since I was 7 years old.  It gives me the ability and time to focus on my studies an business.  

I want to inspire people to believe that they can do anything they put their mind to and never give up. I appreciate all your support throughout my journey.
